Hiro
Hiro 40 Nib
Sold Out
The Hiro 40 nib tends to go by many names, including the Leonardt 40 or the Blue Pumpkin. Some calligraphers find this nib to be a less expensive option than the Brause Steno Nib, which is very similar in both appearance and performance.
The Hiro 40 is very flexible, requiring a gentle hand and is capable of producing thick, beautiful swells. This nib produces decent hairlines and can be used for Copperplate, but it is better suited for modern calligraphy styles. It can hold a lot of ink, making re-dipping less frequent.
