The Hiro 41 is a very smooth nib, that glides over the most textured papers. Also called the Crown nib due to its unique shape, the 41 is very flexible and holds more ink than typical pointed pens.  Iy can produce nice hairlines and is acceptable for Copperplate, but is best used for modern calligraphy styles. This nib is a little too flexible for beginners, and is recommended for intermediate or advanced calligraphers
