Wednesday November 27, 2019
6:30pm - 8:30 pm
Suminagashi is a paper marbling technique that originated in Japan more than 800 years ago. Suminagashi or "floating ink" is the process in which ink is floated on the surface of plain water then transferred onto a sheet of paper. Each print is like a fingerprint, unique and one of a kind.
In this workshop we will show you how to float ink, to create beautiful hand marbled sheets of paper which can be used to make wrapping paper, notebook covers, gift cards and so much more!
